Description
Pockets Pad is a riser pad that allows adjustment of the saddle setting. It is equipped with multiple thicknesses and different materials shims to compensate for small asymmetries in the back of the horse and in the saddle panels. Available in RISER or EXTRA RISER models for standard or high withers. It is also available in HALF PAD or COMPLETE PAD cut according to rider’s needs.
The anatomical shape protects the horse’s back from sores, the shims placement guarantees freedom of movement for the shoulder and all the necessary clearance in the area of the withers and spine to preserve the delicate structures of the back from crushing and frictions. Pockets pad outer surface is made in Cordura ( resistant and breathable fabric), while the bottom layer in contact with the horse is made in soft Waffle Cotton. Waffle Cotton makes Pockets Pad (half Pad cut) suitable to be used under a standard saddle pad as well.
Pockets Pad is very easy to use and to maintain. Shims insertion and removal are very handy. The saddlepad is machine washable (remove shims before). Multiple choice of color combinations are available, all Pockets Pad are strictly hand-made in Italy.

Models
The RISER model fits horses with a low withers (ideal for a minimal correction and/or general relief for the horse’s back). The EXTRA RISER model fits horses with high withers.

Custom embroidery and colors
The outern layer is in Cordura, a strong and breathable fabric suitable to be machine washed.
All our products can be embroidered with the rider’s name or with the logo of the equestrian Association.
Washing
All our products are made of durable materials. For a correct washing we recommend following the instructions on the labels. Products that have padded pockets are advised to empty the pockets first. It is recommended not to immerse the padding in water, if necessary, moisten them with a cloth. Velvet products are just as resistant but gentle washing is recommended. Our fabrics are stabilized however a slight shrinkage may occur after the first wash.
